The New Direction – Walton NY

We at CMS are honored to have been asked by The New Direction in Walton, NY to create a new website!

The New Direction is a Guest House for the intermediate care of alcoholics and provides the high-functioning alcoholic with the tools necessary for recovery by exposure to knowledgeable and caring persons. It offers a supportive, yet vigorous program, firmly focused on the Twelve Step recovery program of Alcoholics Anonymous.

The New Direction operates in a beautiful turn of the century farmhouse nestled in a picturesque Catskill Mountain valley. Its charm is accented by a huge red barn, 200 acres of rolling meadows, trout streams and a lovely spring-fed pond; ideal for swimming in the summer and skating in the winter. Inside the house is a bright cheery atmosphere of love and understanding, superb food and comfortable surroundings intended to make our guests’ stay a memorable one.

The folks at The New Direction are doing wonderful things and helping thousands of people. We are just so darned proud to be able to help in the small way that we have. Keep it going Matt, Mike, and Margaret. The world needs more selfless folks like you!

The Mark Project

Well it’s been a while, the last time we did a makeover of Mark it was during the last big flood and their site was down so we took it over and helped them get the word out. So fast forward 8 years or so and now they have a new site! It’s a fresh re-do that is mobile/responsive and a lot more up-to-date. Thanks and good luck Mark!

As we enter our 40th year , MARK continues to provide economic development, housing, community revitalization and technical assistance programs to the region. We serve the Towns of Andes, Bovina, Middletown, Roxbury and Shandaken as well as the Villages of Fleischmanns and Margaretville.

The MARK Project Inc. is a 501-c-3 not-for-profit, tax-exempt rural development company that unites efforts and secures resources to build and revitalize our communities. Contributions to the MARK Project are deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
